3 mango quick and easy desserts

Mango is a summer favourite in Indian households when it is chilled in the fridge all night to eat the next morning. It is a staple dessert for many of us, but did you know that you can add a lot of variety to a simple mango and make desserts that are ten times yummier? Well, keep reading for some of them:

  • Mango Cheesecake Recipe: Cheesecake and mango in one dish sound like the perfect dessert to any meal. This is an easy recipe to make our traditional mangoes look fancy yet delicious.

Ingredients

1 tin (400 gms) Nestlé MILKMAID

½ cup (75 ml) Water

2 tbsp Gelatine

¼ tsp Mango Essence

200 gms Paneer

200 ml Fresh Cream

400 gms Chopped Mango

Method

For the Cake

  1. Take gelatine and dissolve it in ½ cup of water on top of a pan of hot water. Mix Nestlé MILKMAID, grated paneer, mango essence and dissolved gelatine in a blender.
  2. Then, add the mango pieces to it and continue blending. Keep aside some pieces for decoration.

For the Whipped Cream

  1. Take the fresh cream and whip it till it is light and fluffy.
  2. Fold the whipped cream into the mixture.
  3. Pour it into a mould and set it in the fridge.
  4. Once set, remove it, cut it, add the mango pieces for decoration, and serve it chilled.
  • Mango Kulfi Recipe: The nostalgia of having kulfi on hot summer evenings in our childhood is timeless. So, this is a twist to the traditional kulfi. 

Ingredients

½ tin (200 gms) Nestlé

1 tbsp Cornflour

1 litre Nestlé a+ Nourish Milk

500 gms Mango Puree

Method

  1. Take a pan and add Nestlé MILKMAID and milk boil them while stirring continuously.
  2. Reduce the flame and cook the mix for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring in between.
  3. Prepare a cornflour paste by adding 2 tbsp milk to it and the milk mixture. Keep cooking for 3 to 4 minutes until you see the mixture thicken and then remove it from the flame and cool it.
  4. When it cools down, add the mango puree and mix it. Fill the kulfi cones with this mix and freeze for 3 to 4 hours, then remove it and serve it.
  • Mango Ice-cream Recipe: Combining two summer favorites- mango ice-cream can definitely not go wrong. It is the perfect recipe for a summer blockbuster and super easy to make at home.

Ingredients

1 tin (400 gms) Nestlé MILKMAID

300 ml Fresh Cream

3 Ripe Mangoes

Method

  1. Add Nestlé MILKMAID, mango puree and fresh cream in a bowl. Keep whisking till you see the mix thicken.
  2. Pour it in an ice-cream box and set it in the freezer till it is half set.
  3. Take it out and whisk again. Repeat the process to maintain the creamy texture of the ice-cream. Set it completely and serve it chilled.
